Established in 1971 by Capitol Baptist Church, Capitol Baptist School has served the families of Dover and surrounding areas by providing a quality Christian education for children in K-3 through 12th grade (currently kindergarten through 12th grade). Capitol Baptist School is an approved member of both the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS) and the Delaware Association of Christian Schools (DACS).
The program of our Christian school is based upon a biblical foundation, while placing a strong emphasis on academic fundamentals. Each subject is taught in light of biblical truth. Capitol Baptist School uses the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) curriculum. (For more information on this curriculum, click here.) Extracurricular activities include music and sports. Students compete with area Christian schools in sports and also have opportunities to participate in fine arts competitions. We encourage biblical standards, respect for parents and authority, and patriotism.
